"Our mission is to impact the lives of community members in Marc’s name through grant making and philanthropic based initiatives."
Founded in 2014, The Marc R. Mills Memorial Fund aims to bridge the gap between community and philanthropic endeavors by contributing to a broad range of local and regional non-profits, primarily in the Litchfield Hills of Connecticut. The Mills Fund looks to grant to organizations that aid people in need, build character and instill life-enhancing values and enrichment.
We are active in many local events, continuously engaging opportunities to enhance the lives of community members, aligning with our core mission. Additionally, we support numerous other organizations, helping to drive awareness for their respective causes.
Our placement at Connecticut Community Foundation, a 501c(3) community foundation, affords us as a donor-advised fund, greater flexibility, transparency and professional administration of grant processing, fund disbursement and record keeping.
Connecticut Community Foundation has been strengthening Greater Waterbury and the Litchfield Hills through the power of giving since 1923.
